Great advices! Very informative and useful for everyone who wants to live greener. And there are so much fun you can remake, reuse and repurpose. All it takes is some creativity or a look at pinterest 🙂 I like thrift stores and purchasing second-hand but it takes some knowledge to not end up with old chemicals. I never buy plastic items for example.
Hi Charlotte,

Have a healthy happy day! Marla
I love your ideas, especially the Reuse & Reduce section. Just making some simple changes to existing furniture & appliances can make them seem new again. It also reminds me that if we do need to buy “new”, be sure that what we’re buying is quality so that, in the future, we can make some cosmetic changes to liven things up. I have an old couch but it’s extremely well made. A couple of years ago, we got busy and reupholstered it and wow … it totally changed our room. Thanks for all your wonderful tips!
Thanks so much reading my article and commenting. I agree with you that we need to reuse, recycle and buy quality products. It is amazing how just a few cosmetic touch up can make such a big difference and great improvement to old items.
