Some Interesting Info About Paloe Diet and Book Review
Did you know that last year the most researched diet on the internet was — “Paleo diet”? Paleo diet is also known as the Caveman diet that is a high-protein, high-fiber eating plan. The basis for this is that early humans sustained themselves on wild plants and meats. It is primarily a low-carb diet that avoids most, processed foods and sugars, grains, dairy, alcohol, legumes, potatoes, and processed oils. What the diet does include is primarily grass-fed meat, fish, poultry, free range eggs, organically and locally grown vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds.
Although there is controversy in regards to the benefits of the Paleo diet – there does seem to be some evidence that the Paleo Diet can have substantial health benefits. These benefits include; increase insulin sensitivity, weight loss, better gut health, less allergies, among other health benefits. The avoidance of processed sugar and foods, itself is a gigantic step to healthier body and lifestyle.
Now that I told you the basic of Paleo diet I like to enlighten you a wonderful Paleo cookbook written by an amazing young lady – Heather Resler, who is a food and nutrition blogger @ cookituppaleo — she is still in high school but, dreams of becoming a nutritionist someday. This book has over 70 recipes in that are all delicious and nutritious and I can guarantee that your taste buds will be jumping for joy. There are tips for eating Paleo on budget and full-color photos of every recipe.
