  1. Hi Marla, food is so important, especially when studying and other such ‘brain work’, even more so when short of cash as a student. I used to mentor a student a few years ago who wasn’t eating because of study stress but instead snacked on sweets and junk food only – made such a difference to her when she switched snacks to dried fruit and nuts
