Wow it’s hard to believe that another year as gone by and a New Year has begun! This is the time of the year when many of us are making New Year’s Resolutions and changes to improve our health, lifestyle, and for new beginnings. It’s not always easy to make commitments and stick to them.
I found an inspirational poem in a local magazine I was reading that moved and touched my heart – so I really wanted to share with all of you! It made me stop and think that I needed to make some changes in my life. So read this and see if it doesn’t inspire you! True good health is when we are healthy in mind, body and spirit and if you follow this recipe it sure will help you find healing and better health.
Fail-Proof Ingredients for a Glorious 2016
Take 12 whole months.
Clean them thoroughly of all bitterness, hate and jealousy.
Cut each month into 28, 30, 31 different parts, but don’t make up the whole batch at once.
Prepare one at a time with these ingredients:
Mix well into each day one part each of faith, patience, courage, and work.
Also add to each day one part of hope, faithfulness, generosity, and kindness.
Blend with one part prayer, one part meditation and one good deed.
Season the whole with a dash of good spirits, a sprinkle of fun, a pinch of play and a cupful of good humor.
Pour all of this into a vessel of love.
Cook thoroughly over radiant joy, garnish with a smile and serve with quietness, unselfishness and cheerfulness.
