Fruit Oats Bar

Fruit Oats Bars

  • 3 Mashed Ripe Bananas
  • 1/3 cup organic apple sauce
  • 2 cups organic oats
  • 1/4 cup raw milk or organic almond milk
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 dried organic cranberries
  • 1 teaspoon Real Vanilla
  • 1 tsp organic Cinnamon

Directions: Mix the bananas, apple sauce, with the oats and cinnamon. Stir in the milk and vanilla. Add the raisins and dried cranberries. If the mixture is too dry add a tablespoon more milk or as much as needed.   Put in a brownie pan. Bake at 350 degrees for  25-30 minutes or until slightly browned around edges and until the middle is fully baked.  Take out of oven and let cool then cut into bars. ENJOY!

The kids will love this and so will all your friends and relatives. It is flour-less, egg-less, with no added sugar. They have always been a big hit when I have made them and everyone is always astonished at the ingredients; without any added sugar and just plain good for you. They are great for any time of the year but are especially a great treat to take to a holiday party, family gathering, or when you have guests over.

We all love to enjoy sweets but we don’t have to sacrifice our health just to enjoy a delicious snack. So stop eating those toxic sugar filled, chemical laden desserts. I can’t argue that many of them are delicious, but you need to ask yourself is it worth losing your health?  According to Medical News Today — processed sugar and HFCS causes many health risks including obesity, heart disease, and rising diabetes rates. Don’t you think we should be teaching our children a healthier way to eat and live?  We are what we eat!  Live a Green and Healthy Lifestyle and you will reap the health benefits for years to come.
