Staff members at Nexus embrace client individuality and cater to their unique backgrounds and needs. For this reason, Nexus Recovery Services offer a variety of different programs that all leads towards the same destination. With individual care and custom-treatment plans, Nexus helps clients discover a new way of life for all of their clients.
Nexus Recovery Services offer 3 different programs and then aftercare for clients that are transitioning back into their normal lives but need continued support.
The 3 different programs are:
- Outpatient
- Intensive outpatient
- Partial Hospitalization
Below is a break down of each of these 3 programs and how to know which one is the right fit.
Outpatient:
This program is for clients who are transitioning out of an intensive program and need flexibility treatment due to work, school, or other life obligations. This outpatient program meets for two hours a day, one day a week.
The outpatient program includes the following:
- Coordination of medication management
- Individual therapy
- Group therapy
- Family dynamic review
- Case management
- Community involvement
- Budgeting & financial planning
- Transition & aftercare planning
Though this program is less intensive than the intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization program, the clinical team is still dedicated to promoting a full and healthy recovery. To meet long-term goals, staff can customize the experience and update the plan weekly.
Intensive Outpatient:
This program is geared more towards those clients transitioning out of a residential recovery program or need an intensive program but still need to meet obligations involving work or schooling. This program meets for three to four hours a day, three to five days per week.
Some aspect of the intensive outpatient program include:
- Coordination with psychiatrist
- Individual therapy
- Family therapy
- Group therapy
- Case management
- Psycho-education & experiential groups
- Holistic services
- Community involvement
- Spiritual counseling
- Nutritional & fitness counseling

- Continues recovery & aftercare planning
The program is more hands-on than the regular outpatient program because of its additional counseling sessions, group outings, and other planning services.
Partial Hospitalization:
Nexus’ partial hospitalization program is for clients that are new to the recovery process. The structured environment is best for the new client who needs support taking place a minimum of 6 hours a day for 5 days per week. This program creates a foundation for the rest of the recovery process. Nexus Recovery Services offer a small client to clinician ration, enabling each client to get maximized attention and customized support.

Clients in this program are able to get a referral from Nexus Recovery Services regarding a sober living option if they’re in need of housing.
Aftercare program: As soon as a client begins their recovery with Nexus Recovery Services staff begins to form a framework for client short-term and long-term recovery goals. The aftercare program ensures continued support in meeting and maintaining those recovery goals in order to live a better life.
The aftercare program has the following packages:
- Sobering mentoring package – for those who are prone to relapsing, having a mentor can keep the client accountable
- Alumni program – this includes weekly meetings, community events, and monthly check-ins
